Materials

We stay on the cutting edge of the newest and most exciting designs, materials and technology. Our in-house design team uses 3D imaging to allow the customer to visualize the deisgn before it is created. Extremely accurate CAD software also minimizes adjustments needed and allows for changes to be made before contraction begins rather than mid-project.

We basically offer three type of materials — wood, composites and cellulose PVC by Azek.

Azek™ — PVC Decking
While wood is still the most popular, synthetics and composites are making a re really making inroads into the industry. The cellulose PVC is a very exciting decking material and one we feel is a superior option. That is why we are offering our clients decking my Azek at no up-charge. Azek decking virtually eliminates the usual pitfalls of wood and composites. Azek decking is stain resistant, scratch resistant, moisture resistant, insect free, won't rot, doesn't sag and will not exppand and contract. Our Azek decks are installed with blind fastening in a tongue and groove system leaving the surface free of fasteners.

Premium ACQ Preserve Plus — Wood Decking
In response to environmental and safety concerns, we offer a wood material that is arsenic and chromium-free and is safe for any family. This is the material we use throughout the entire construciton of the deck. Our wood decks have built in water repellents to prevent water damage and is designed for ground contact. Our wood deck installations come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Millennium - Recycled Plastic Decking
Millennium lumber is a revolutionary building material that can be used as an alternative to conventional or pressure treated lumber. Manufactured from 100% reclaimed waste plastics and cellulose fibers, this unique product exhibits the properties of conventional wood lumber but is maintenance free. Unlike wood and composite decking, Millennium lumber will not crack, split, splinter, or rot. Exclusive to Affordable Decks and Additions is our blind fastening in a tongue and groove system. The beauty of Millennium lasts for years and has a 50-year limited residential warranty.

Affordable Decks and Additions has really stayed ahead of the game with exciting new railing and baluster designs. Aluminum and glass balusters are a very unique and exciting new look. From very classic Colonial style to Basket shaped balusters or baroque to clear and smoked glass. These deck rails have a very distinct look that will stand out in any neighborhood.
